Betty Jeffries is a fashion boutique business owned by designer, Ralph London, in Louisville, Ky. Ralph specializes in designing women’s clothes inspired by the mid-century fashions his mother, Betty, wore in the 50’s - 60’s.

Ralph owned a mobile boutique and eventually his own brick and mortar boutique store. He needed graphics for a logo and a large graphic decal design for his mobile boutique truck.

He wanted his logo to have a vintage classic appeal.

The font style I chose is a variation of American Typewriter with a more rustic, distressed edge and the colors are subdued mint and off-white.

Ralph was inspired by vintage wall mural advertisements for the design on his mobile boutique truck. He wanted a vintage photo of his mother to be included prominently as his main inspiration for his business and for the graphic to appear hand painted on a brick wall.

As his business has grown over the years, I have continued to provide him with creative solutions, including updates to the brand design and graphics and illustrations for his merchandise.
